Film news: Rose Byrne wants sequel to Melissa McCarthy movie ‘Spy’

Spy, which came out in 2015, follows Melissa McCarthy’s character Susan Cooper as she is thrust into the world of espionage when the names of her organisation’s spies are leaked.

Directed by Paul Feig, the film gained somewhat of a cult classic status, as its all-star cast and fantastic humour caught the attention of fans around the world.

Rose Byrne, who played a key role in the hilarious drama, appearing on the red carpet in celebration of her new movie If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, spoke about her excitement at any notion of a Spy sequel, Film News Blitz’s Joe Matthews reports.
