Film news: Daniel Day-Lewis returns from retirement, stars in his son’s film ‘Anemone’

Daniel Day-Lewis is one of the most iconic actors of all time.

With performances such as Daniel Plainview in There Will Be Blood, and Reynolds Woodcock in Phantom Thread, the 68-year-old amassed three Academy Awards prior to his retirement in 2017.

Nevertheless, it seems as though his son, Ronan Day-Lewis’ directorial debut Anemone is enough to coax him back into the industry, reports Film News Blitz’s Joe Matthews.
